More than 13 Somalis have been flown to Turkey for medical treatment after they sustained injuries during bloody clashes between
Somali fighters and government troops.
The Turkish government has dispatched planes to the Horn of African nation to transport the injured to hospitals in Istanbul, the
Press TV correspondent reported.
The majority of those taken were Somali soldiers in critical condition.
Reports say, hospitals in Somalia's capital city Mogadishu can no longer accept wounded people despite working in their full
capacity, as violent fighting between the two forces persisted for ten weeks.
