Asmara — The Eritrean communities in Kuwait, Riyadh and Holland stated that the unjust Security Council's resolution imposing sanctions against Eritrea would only further reinforce the steadfastness and strength of the Eritrean people.

In a statement, the Eritrean Community in Kuwait pointed out that the erroneous move constitutes a shameful act that violates the very principles and Charter of the United Nations. It is a shame to witness the world body becoming a mere tool of the US and other special interest groups in adopting resolutions that foment crisis in the globe, instead of striving to promote peace in the planet, the Community elaborated.

Likewise, the Eritrean Community in Riyadh and its environs on its part stated that it is not for the first time that Eritrea has become the victim of unjustified UN resolutions, and asserted that the Eritrean people would as ever overcome such an act.

Similarly, the Eritrean Community in Holland condemned the shameful resolution that fully attests to the US Administration's nature of wrongdoing and exploitation in the region.

Denouncing the distressing but well-known act of monopoly, the nationals stated that the move would further reinforce the commitment and unity of the Eritrean people. In this connection, they asserted that they would enhance their contribution to the Homeland.
