FUJAIRAH — Roads in the new residential areas of Fujairah will be paved, ushering in a new era of well-planned network of roads in
the emirate, a top municipality official has said.
Streets in the emirate are littered with construction wasteAt present, internal roads in the emirate are not paved and many of them
are littered with construction waste like bricks and wood pieces.
Director of Fujairah Municipality Saif Al Afkham announced that the civic body has started paving roads in the new residential
centres in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and the Abu Dhabi Municipality.
“Roads in other areas will be built after the sewerage is put in place,” he added. “Building a modern road network is part of the
municipality’s plan,” he said.
